Notice is hereby given that RAMACO RESOURCES, LLC, 250 W MAIN ST, SUITE 1900, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 50.35 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S400501 to Coal Surface Mine in the Pocahontas No. 5 seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Right Fork of Beech Fork of Dry Fork of the Tug Fork and is located 3.0 miles, Southwest of Squire in Big Creek District of McDowell County, Longitude 81° 39' 0" and Latitude 37° 12' 57" (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
