General Notice
The Bluefield WV Economic Development Authority (BEDA) (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Exit 1 Development – Entrances
USEDA# 01-79-14815
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Bluefield WV Economic Development Authority office, located at 500 Bland Street, Third Floor, Bluefield, WV 24701, until Tuesday, July 14th at 3:00 PM local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Paving, demolition, grading/site prep., site stabilization/erosion and sediment control, storm drainage, curb & gutter.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Exit 1 Development –
Entrances, USEDA# 01-79-14815. The Project has an expected duration of 70 days.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at BEDAs office, located at 500 Bland Street, Third Floor, Bluefield, WV 24701. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Contractors are encouraged to visit the project site either before or following the pre-bid conference.
