Notice is hereby given that EASTERN AGGREGATES, LLC, PO BOX 1840, PINEVILLE, WV 24874 has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q300820 to the Department of environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nich Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, in order to remove sandstone by conducting quarry operations.
The operation is discharging into Unnamed tributaries of Piney Creek, Unnamed tributaries of Glade Fork of Beaver Creek of Piney Creek of New River of Kanawha River and is located 2.92 miles, South West of Beaver in Shady Spring District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81° 10' 25" and Latitude 37° 42' 59" (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 27, 2026, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be avaialbe for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
