REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK FOR
NEW SUNCREST MIDDLE SCHOOL PROJECT
Monongalia County Board of Education (Board) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals or firms to serve as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the new Suncrest Middle School, a jointly funded project between the School Building Authority of WV and the Board. The Board intends to use the CMAR delivery method under W.Va. Code §5-22-B-1 for the selection of qualified firms. The New Suncrest Middle School will be located in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The work shall be in accordance with the scope of services and meet all the minimum technical and general requirements outlined in the Request for Statement of Qualifications.

Qualified firms are invited to mail or hand deliver five (5) spiral bound hard copies and one (1) digital copy on a thumb drive of their expression of interest, no later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday July 17, 2026 at the office of the Monongalia County Board of Education at 1751 Earl L. Core Road, Morgantown, West Virginia 26505 attention Mrs. Nicole Kemper, Chief School Business Officer/Treasurer. No faxed or e-mailed copies will be accepted.
Only firms submitting timely and responsive expressions of interest will be considered for prequalification to receive the Request for Proposal. The evaluation committee will evaluate the submitted statements of qualifications and determine the most qualified person(s) or firm(s) to be prequalified to Step 2 the RFP phase.
Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all statement of qualifications received if it is deemed to be in the best interest of Monongalia County Schools.
