Notice is hereby given that SHANE COAL COMPANY, PO BOX 1084, 356 S COLLEGE AVE, BLUEFIELD, VA 24605 has submitted an application for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number S300619 in order to Add 84.82 acres and delete 1.82 acres of bonded area, increasing the total bonded to 221.00 acres.
The revised permit will discharge into Unnamed Tributary of and Rock House Branch, Unnamed Tributary of Elkhorn Creek, Jed Branch all of the Tug Fork River of BIG SANDY RV and is located 1.14 miles Southeast of Welch, in the Adkin/Browns Ck District of McDowell County, Longitude 81 34 7 and Latitude 37 25 17.
