Notice of Application
Notice is given that CNX Gas Company, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit for a Natural Gas Wellpad (WDTN28 M1 Wellpad) located near Western Township, in Monongalia County, West Virginia. The site latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.68219 N, -80.38366 W.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants after the project will be:
Particulate Matter (PM) = 0.93 tpy
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) = 0.07 tpy
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) = 0.54 tpy
Carbon Monoxide (CO) = 10.23 tpy
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) = 12.18 tpy
Total Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) = 0.09 tpy
Benzene = <0.01 tpy
Ethylbenzene = <0.01 tpy
Formaldehyde = <0.01 tpy
n-Hexane = 0.08 tpy
Toluene = <0.01 tpy
Xylenes = <0.01 tpy
Methane = 21.02 tpy
Carbon Dioxide Equivalents (CO2e) = 15,098 tpy
Operations are planned to begin as soon as the permit is issued. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Written comments will also be received via email at [email protected].
