QUALIFICATIONS
The Wheeling Park Commission is requesting qualifications from architectural/landscape architectural firms to provide all design, construction documents, bid negotiation and construction administration for the renovation and expansion of:

The existing facility has a swimming pool, a children’s wading pool and sunning space. Inside the adjoining historic stone building is the concession, changing and rest rooms. This pool was built in 1938 with few changes to date. The objective of this project is an updated facility while maintaining the historic integrity of the site and existing building. Updates should provide: better user circulation, user safety, user increase, aesthetics, ADA compliance, efficient concession and new restrooms.
STATEMENT OF
QUALIFICATIONS:
Your submission should include the following information:
– Name, address and brief history of your firm.
-Resumes of the personnel who will be assigned to this project and their qualifications.
-Resort, pool planning and design experience, listing a minimum of three projects the firm has performed, including a contact person and telephone number of each.
-Examples of project budgeting, cost estimating and results.
-Experience with scheduling projects, off site fabrication and other specific experience associated with pool construction & renovation.

The RFQ will be reviewed and evaluated for the firm’s qualifications, ranking and a short list for those selected to be interviewed. A Pre-Interview meeting will be scheduled to tour the project site prior to interviews. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ and to waive irregularity in the process.
