WRITTEN COMMENT PERIOD
Chapter 16-2A-3 of West Virginia Code authorizes local boards of health to promulgate rules and regulations necessary and proper for the protection of the general health of the county.
The Beckley – Raleigh County Board of Health at it’s regular meeting Monday, February 24, 2020, adopted the recommended process of ad mending the Raleigh County Clean Indoor Air Regulation of 2004. The public will be given a 60 day comment period.
The Beckley – Raleigh County Board of Health will be accepting written comments from the public concerning the proposed amendments of the Raleigh County Clean Indoor Air Regulation of 2004. The Raleigh County Clean Indoor Air Regulation of 2020 is posted at the Elinor Hurt Memorial Health Center located at 1602 Harper Road, Beckley, WV and may be reviewed Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

Written comments may be left at the Elinor Hurt Memorial Health Center or may be mailed to the Beckley – Raleigh County Board of Health, 1602 Harper Road, Beckley, WV 25801 until April 26, 2020.
