WEED CONTROL
INVITATION TO BID
The Berkeley County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for weed control at all school properties. The proposals must be received no later than 1:30 P.M., on April 21st, 2020. All State and Local laws and codes must be followed, IPM’S must be maintained, and contractor must have the appropriate license and certification as required.
Fence rows, buildings, sidewalks, parking lots, graveled areas, playground equipment, walking tracks, sports fields, (High Schools have football, baseball, softball, some soccer and practice fields) under bleachers, and rock breaks etc. are to be treated to relieve trimming required at each location.
Contract will be from May 1, 2020 through October 31, 2020. Payments will be in six payments for the length of the contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time for unsatisfactory performance. Contract valid in 1 year increments ONLY, not to exceed 3 years.
