Notice of Public Hearing
The Hancock County Solid Waste Authority will hold a public hearing concerning the five-year updates of the Hancock County Solid Waste Authority’s Comprehensive Litter and Solid Waste Control Plan.
The hearing will take place at the Hancock County Courthouse, on July 16, 2020 at 7:00 PM during which time public comments will be heard. The draft plans may be reviewed at the Hancock County Solid Waste Authority Recycling Center, Mary Weir Public Library, Swaney Memorial Library, Lynn Murray Memorial Library, Hancock County Clerk’s Office, and the Brooke-Hancock Regional Planning and Development Council. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, those wishing to view the plans should first contact one of the above locations to schedule an appointment.
Written comments will be accepted until July 31, 2020 and may be sent to the Hancock County Solid Waste Authority, PO Box 665, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
