Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority is accepting sealed bids for a current year or newer 3/4 ton pickup with mileage less than 25,000 miles plus the following minimum specifications:
4×4 Super Duty/Heavy Duty
8 cylinder or equivalent engine, Automatic Transmission
Warranty; Minimum 5 year 60K miles
Exterior White
Trailer Towing Package, Trailer sway control,
Trailer brake controller
Extra heavy duty alternator
Suspension with Stabilizer Bar
Hill Start Assist
10000GVWR package or greater
Spare tire and wheel, jack
4 Wheel anti-locking brakes
All Season or All Terrain tires
Air conditioning, platform running boards
AM/FM stereo with clock
Rear view camera
Bed tie down hooks
Adjustable seats and Driver/Passenger air bags
Tilt steering wheel
All bids must be presented in a sealed white envelope with “Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority Truck”
written on the outside of the envelope. Bids may be mailed or hand- delivered to Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority. The mailing address is PO Box 61, New Martinsville, WV 26155 or hand delivered to
250 North Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 by 4 pm on July 22, 2020. Delivery of the vehicle must take place within 30 days of the awarding of the bid. The WCSWA will pick up the vehicle. All bids must include all fees and delivery charges.
Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. Please contact WCSWA at 304-455-5262 for any questions.
