INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District at the District’s Administration Office, 65 District Way, Martinsburg, West Virginia until August 28, 2020 at 4:00 pm prevailing time, for the installation of approximately 1,950 linear feet of 8 inch gravity sewer line, 11 manholes and 40 PVC wye connections to service the Arcadia Springs North Phase 1A Subdivision. Bids should include all costs to provide an operational collection system in a turnkey fashion, Work shall be completed in no more than 270 days.
Detailed plans and specifications are available at the District’s Administration Office, 65 District Way, Martinsburg, West Virginia, 25404, and may be examined and/or obtained during regular business hours. Site visits to the job location can be arranged by contacting the District at 304-263-8566 ext. 213.
All complete bid submissions shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed as follows:
“BERKELEY COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE SEWER DISTRICT, WEST VIRGINIA,
ARCADIA SPRINGS NORTH PHASE 1A SUBDIVISION”. Said sealed envelopes shall bear the name and address of the bidder on the outside face of the
envelope.
The Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District shall award the contract or reject all bids within ninety (90) days, unless there has been an agreed extension as set forth in the above paragraph. The Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any informality as may be deemed to be held in the best interest of the Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District.
Women and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
