ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BENEDUM CIVIC CENTER ROOF REPLACEMENT CITY OF BRIDGEPORT, WEST VIRGINIA Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia, at the office of Parks and Recreation, until 10:00 a.m., EDT, Friday August 21, 2020, for the Roof Replacement at the Benedum Civic Center for the City of Bridgeport. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 10:00am. At the time and place specified above, all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the conference room, at the Benedum Civic Center, 164 West Main Street, Bridgeport WV. Each bidder must tender with their proposal a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of their total proposal. Bid security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders ten (10) days following opening of bid. The Bid Security of the successful bidder will be retained until he/she executes surety bond for performance of contract. If the successful bidder is not able to furnish surety bond within ten (10) days following award of contract, their Bid Security will be forfeited to the City of Bridgeport, West Virginia.
