INVITATION TO BID
The Wheeling Housing Authority will receive sealed bids for the Purchase and Installation of Carpet Tiles and Vinyl Baseboard, in the hallways at our Garden Park Terrace Apts. located at 1208 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling,WV until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1st, 2015, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at our Main Office located at 11 Community St. in Elm Grove.
The bidder will be responsible for carpet measurements. Removal of old carpet, floor preparation, and clean-up is the responsibility of the successful bidder. A Pre-Bid Conference and walk-thru
will be held at Garden Park Terrace on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Attendance
is recommended.
Copies of the bidding documents may be obtained upon request at the Housing Authority Office 11 Community Street in Elm Grove. A $50.00 deposit per bid set is required. Payment to be made by check only, payable to the Wheeling Housing Authority. Any unsuccessful bidder may be refunded upon return of documents within 10 days. Non-bidders will not receive a refund.
Sealed bids are to be submitted to the attention of: Mr. Randall L. Geese, Executive Director/ Contracting Officer, The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling, 11 Community Street, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003-2089. Bids must be clearly marked: “CARPET BID”. The Housing Authority may consider to waive or reject any bid or all bids not prepared in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or specifications.
