ORDER OF PUBLICATION
The object of this action is to quiet title concerning the coal, oil, gas and other minerals in and underlying certain parcels of real estate which are situate in Proctor District, in Wetzel County, West Virginia, designated on Tax Map 7, as Parcels 29, 30, 31, 31.1 & 31.2, with a total acreage of 181.505 Acres (described as 181 ¾ Acres for oil and gas assessment purposes). The total 181.505 Acres are three (3) parcels consisting of 22 ¾ Acres, 88 Acres and 71 Acres. Title and ownership emanate from John Hafer who died February 3, 1898. The defendants to this action are the heirs of John Hafer and their assigns. This document is for the purpose of notifying and serving any unknown heirs of John Hafer and their assigns, and any defendants that were not found and not served by legal process in this action. Therefore,
It is ORDERED that all named defendants and all heirs of John Hafer, known or unknown, and any assigns of any interest in the subject real estate, and any unfound or unserved defendants, or any other interested party, shall each of them appear and serve upon Herman D. Lantz, Esq., Lantz Law Offices, at the address of 518 Seventh Street, Moundsville, WV 26041, or Thomas E. White, White and Clyburn Law Offices, at an address
of 604 Sixth Street, Moundsville, WV 26041, Plaintiffs’ attorneys, an Answer or other defense to the Petition filed in this action on or before September 23, 2020 for
the purpose of protecting their respective interests and/or objecting to the matters set forth and requested in said Petition. Otherwise judgment by default may be taken against them at any time thereafter. This is to be published once per week for three (3) consecutive weeks.
A copy of said Petition can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at her office in New Martinsville in said county and state.
