IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF
HANCOCK COUNTY
WEST VIRGINIA
IN THE MATTER OF: CIVIL ACTION NO. 20-A-9, THE PETITION OF R.E.R. AND R.L.R. FOR THE ADOPTION OF ESPYN ANN MARIE ICKES AND CHANGE OF NAME FROM ESPYN ANN MARIE ICKES TO ESPYN ANN MARIE RIDINGER, an Infant Child under the Age of 18 Years. Pursuant to West Virginia Code Section 48-22-601, this is notice to Kimberly Ann Andjuar aka Kimberly Ann Kelly and Matthew William Ickes, biological parents to Esypn Ann Marie Ickes, and to any other parties required notice by law or to any other party that may claim to be entitled to notice, that on the 16th day of November, 2020 at 12:00 pm, the Petitioners will bring on for hearing the Petition to legally adopt and change the name of said minor child before the Honorable Judge Olejasz, Circuit Judge of Hancock County, in his courtroom located In the Hancock County Circuit Court at 102 N. Court Street, New Cumberland, WV. The object of this Petition is to terminate any claims or rights you may have to the minor child subject to this Petition, including paternity rights, if applicable, and to legally change the child’s name. Failure to respond to this notice and/or failure to appear and defend his /her rights, if any, within 30 days of the first date of publication of this notice may result in the termination of any right to assert a claim or contest this Petition. If you or any other Interested party to Espyn Ann Marie Ickes falls to respond to this notice within said 30 days, then said person may not appear in or receive further notice of the adoption and change of name proceedings. A copy of said Petition may be obtained at the Hancock County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and an Answer may be filed with the same office, PO Box 428, 102 N. Court Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia, 26047 and with counsel for the Petitioners, April Manypenny Raines, Esq., 300 Carolina Avenue, Chester, WV 26034.
