Bid Invitation for Used Vehicle
The Weirton Sanitary Board invites you to bid on a used 2002 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. The vehicle is being sold as is with any and all faults.
Minimum bids is $300.00
The vehicle may be viewed and inspected during business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Sewage Treatment Plant located at 5000 Freedom Way, Weirton, WV 26062.
Interested parties must call 304-797-8550 to schedule an appointment.
Any bid to receive consideration must be submitted on a bid sheet form available at the Sewage Treatment Plant. Or the form can be downloaded from the Sanitary Board website at www.weirtonutilities.com. The bid envelope must be clearly marked “Used Vehicle Bid”, be sealed and either hand delivered or mailed to the Sanitary Board office at the above address. All bids must be received prior to 2:00 PM on September 11, 2020 at which time the bids will be opened and read.
Payment must be made before the successful bidder may remove the vehicle from the premises. The vehicles must be removed within three working days from the bid closing date.
The Sanitary Board has the right to reject any or all bids for the vehicle.
