Tyler County 911 is taking bids to upgrade their existing radio dispatch and 911 telephone facilities at the current 911 Center located at 121 Court Street in Middlebourne, West Virginia. It is the intent to purchase the latest proven technology for radio and telephones that will support and provide IP phones, in addition to the 911 call takers system. Also, since space is a premium in the Center, integration will need to be done between the radio and telephone system to minimize duplicate components. It is preferred to have one (1) vendor do both radio and telephone on same workstation computer as a turnkey package. The RFP has both a “telephone” and “radio” section that need to be submitted together.
