COURTHOUSE
NEW FIRE ALARM
SYSTEM
Sealed bids will be received by the Ohio County Commission until 3:00PM/EST on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project is OHIO COUNTY COURTHOUSE-NEW FIRE ALARM SYSTEM. All bids must be addressed to Ohio County Commission, City-County Building, Room 215, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 in an envelope clearly marked “New Fire Alarm System.” A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held Friday, September 4, 2015, at 9:00AM/EST at the Ohio County Commission Office.
Plans and specifications must be obtained from the office of Shaeffer & Madama, Inc., 57 Fourteenth Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 upon payment of a $100.00 deposit. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set within ten (10) days after the bid opening and in good, reusable condition, will be refunded his payment less postage. Non- bidders will not receive a refund. Contractors are limited to two sets by deposit; suppliers may purchase complete sets at cost.
A satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of each bid is required. Bid withdrawls will be governed by West Virginia Code 5-22-2.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject all bids. Also, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Owner further reserves the right to waive any informality in a bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
