NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Martinsburg in the J.
Oakley Seibert Council Chamber at City Hall,
232 North Queen Street, Martinsburg,
West Virginia on
December 3, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, and at such time and place will be opened and
read in public, for
WWTP Naclo Tank
Replacement.

Specifications and bidding documents are available at the City Manager’s
Office, City Hall,
232 North
Queen Street,
Martinsburg,
West Virginia, 25401 and may be examined and/or obtained during regular business hours. Contact number is 304-264-2131. Documents are also
available online at
www.cityofmartinsburg.org.

All complete bid
submissions shall be
enclosed in a sealed
envelope addressed
as follows: “WWTP
Naclo Tank
Replacement.”
Said sealed envelopes shall bear the name and address of the bidder on
the outside face of
the envelope.

Proposals shall not be withdrawn and shall remain in effect for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the bids, except that the bids of any consenting bidder may, at the request of the City, be held for consideration for a longer period as may be agreed. The City of Martinsburg shall award the contract or reject all bids within sixty (60) days, unless there has been an agreed extension as set forth in the above paragraph.

The City of Martinsburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any informalities as
may be deemed to be held in the best interest of the City of Martinsburg.
