NOTICE
The City of McMechen, Marshall County, West Virginia, is seeking proposals, from all duly licensed and qualified providers, for the below identified scope of work. A potential mix of local, state & federal taxpayer funds will be utilized to perform the work.
All work is to be performed at the City Hall building, located at 325 Logan Street. Specifically, at the building’s North access doors, along Logan St., the City desires installation of:
1. ADA-compliant wheelchair ramp for access from the sidewalk into the entryway leading to the combined stairwell/gymnasium entry area, and
2. A wheelchair lift system for access to the first floor of the building
In addition to copies of all by-law certification documents, proposals must include.
1. Unit-cost details on
primary work materials/activities (reasonable lump-sum amounts are acceptable for ancillary/support work). With any necessary explanations.
2. An estimated timeline to start, upon notice to proceed, and
3. An estimated timeline for completion of the work.
A site inspection is available to all prospective bidders. As city business is ongoing and in consideration of COVID-19 protocols, please do not make an unannounced visit. All bidders must call

All proposals must be submitted, in writing, before the close of business on Monday, November 30, 2020. Sealed bids may be submitted by mail to McMechen City Hall, 325 Logan St., McMechen, WV 26040, hand-delivery is acceptable, by fax
