NOTICE
Notice of a Special Meeting for the City of Chester Council on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the City of Chester’s Council Chambers:
1. To consider on first reading a proposed Note Ordinance authorizing its Bond Anticipation Notes, in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $800,000 (the “Notes”), to finance the costs of the design of certain additions, improvements and betterments to the waterworks portion of existing public combined waterworks and sewerage system of the City (the “Project”) entitled:
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS AND EXTENSIONS TO THE WATERWORKS PORTION OF THE EXISTING PUBLIC COMBINED WATERWORKS AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND TEMPORARILY FINANCING OF THE COST THEREOF, NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED, AND PAYING COSTS OF ISSUANCE AND RELATED COSTS, THROUGH THE
ISSUANCE OF THE COMBINED WATERWORKS AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM BOND ANTICIPATION
NOTES, SERIES 2021 OF THE CITY OF CHESTER IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT
OF NOT MORE THAN $800,000; PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF, AND
THE SECURITY FOR, THE REGISTERED OWNER OF SUCH NOTES; AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A TAX CERTIFICATE, AND OTHER DOCUMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SUCH NOTES AND ADOPTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING THERETO.
2. To consider for approval a Reimbursement Resolution relating to
reimbursement of certain capital expenditures made in connection with the Project prior to the Issuance of the Notes entitled:
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF THE REIMBURSEMENT OF CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN CONNECTION WITH COMBINED WATERWORKS AND SEWERAGE
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS MADE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF FUTURE TAX-EXEMPT BONDS.
