LEGAL NOTICE
A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Council Chambers, Weirton City Building, 4:30 P.M. The purpose of this regular meeting is to review the following applications:
a) Elections of officers
b) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance to expand his non-conforming business. The applicant wishes to add an accessory structure to the front of the lot. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
c) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance Table 2 Development Standards, which requires an accessory structure in an R1 district be located behind the rear wall of the principal structure. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
d) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance Table 2 Development Standards, which requires an accessory structure in an R1 district be a maximum 15 ft in height. The requested accessory structure will be 19 ft tall. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
e) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance Table 7 Article 18, to permit a pole sign. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
f) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance Table 7 Article 18, to permit a 16-foot pole sign in a R1 district. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
g) Kody Green, 520 Greenbrier Road, requests a variance from the Unified Development Ordinance Table 7 Article 18, to permit a 0-foot set back from the right of way for the pole sign in a R1 district. (Tax Map W43F, Parcel 102, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential.)
h) John Greco, of 3219 Main Street, filed an administrative appeal regarding the existing non-conforming use status at 3179 Main Street known as D’Zires Gentlemen’s Club.
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by agent or attorneys or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
