Invitation to Submit Bid
WHEELING PARK WHITE PALACE FACADE REHABILITATION

The Wheeling Park Commission, a Municipal Park System located in Wheeling, West Virginia, will receive sealed bids until 2:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at its Main Office, Oglebay Resort and Conference Center, State Route 88 North; Wheeling, West Virginia where bids will be opened and read aloud for the following project:

FACADE
REHABILITATION:

Project consists of the complete removal and replacement of the stucco on the front facade of the building as will be described during the pre-bid walkthrough.

Interested bidders may obtain the bidding documents by attending a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING at 9AM on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the Project Site at the White Palace at Wheeling Park located at 1801 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Any questions concerning the project prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting may be directed to Curt Byrum at 304 -243-4004.

Bidders are advised that this Project is subject to the current prevailing wage as determined by the West Virginia Secretary of State. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Wheeling Park Commission or a Bid Bond for 5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the total bid. Each person or firm submitting a bid for any portion of the work shall include their West Virginia Contractor’s License number and shall provide a current copy of their West Virginia Contractor’s License with their bid. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty day of the actual opening thereof. The successful Contractor and Subcontractors must comply with all rules and Regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, and must be able to provide proof of general liability and automobile liability insurance that meets the minimum requirements as found in the Project Manual.

The Wheeling Park Commission reserves the right to delete any or all portions of the Bid, waive any informalities or minor defects, and reject any or all bids.
