NOTICE
Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Short Environmental Assessment Form has been completed for the installation of a 12,000 gallon Jet A fuel aboveground storage tank (AST) at Corporate Aviation Services, Inc.’s hangar at Wheeling-Ohio County Airport located in Brooke and Ohio Counties, West Virginia. The Jet A fuel AST installation will consist of a concrete pad and screen for the tank and another smaller concrete pad for the associated pump. The proposed project location is mowed grass area near the Corporation Aviation Services, Inc.’s concrete access-way and hangar. The Short Environmental Assessment discusses the implementation of the proposed project and the expected affects on the site and the surrounding environment.
The approved Short Environmental Assessment Form (Short EA) and FAA’s Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is available for public review and comment for 30 days beginning on October 12, 2015. These documents are available for review during normal work hours at the following location: Wheeling- Ohio County Airport Terminal Building, 40 Girtys Point Road, Wheeling, WV.
