NOTICE

MARTINSBURG BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

In accordance with Chapter 8A, Article 8, Section 11 of the Code of West Virginia 2004, as amended, the Martinsburg Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider the public comment on the following:

SPECIAL EXCEPTION: The property is located at 219 S. Spring St. and identified on Berkeley County Tax Map 14
Parcel 501. The applicant is requesting a special
exception pursuant to Martinsburg Zoning
Ordinance Section 560 to provide a daycare facility in the RUB (Urban Residential B District).
Case #SE-21-00006. Rashida Yost, Yost Infant and Early Development Center, LLC, Appellant.

SPECIAL EXCEPTION: The property is located at 711 & 713 Second St. and identified on Berkeley County Tax Map 6 Parcel 232. The applicant is
requesting a special
exception pursuant to Martinsburg Zoning Ordinance Section 410.6 to expand a non-conforming use of a single family to duplex in the BC (Community Business District).

SPECIAL EXCEPTION: The property is located at 705 West Virginia Ave. and identified on Berkeley County Tax Map 17
Parcel 267. The applicant is requesting a special exception pursuant to Martinsburg Zoning Ordinance Section 410.6 to expand a non-conforming structure in the RUA (Urban Residential A District) Case #SE-21-00011. Rodger Harrison,
Appellant.

A hearing will be held on the proposed special
exception on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 232 N. Queen Street, Martinsburg, West Virginia. In the event that an unforeseen circumstance would cause the Board of Zoning
Appeals to cancel the scheduled meeting, a back-up public hearing date of Tuesday, May 4, 2021 will be utilized.
