The City of Follansbee is seeking applications for the position of City Manager. The City is seeking the following qualifications: experience in city management including all matters relating to the management of city employees (greater than 20), direct project experience through design & construction (greater than $3,000,000 in value), environmental compliance in water and wastewater, obtaining grants and understanding of city budgets. 4-year business degree is a plus. The City of Follansbee will develop a short-list (2 or 3 candidates) by April 7, 2021. The short-listened candidates will be interviewed from April 12, 2021 through April 30, 2021. The City Manager selection will be approved in May 10, 2021 Council Meeting with the 1st day of employment being June 1, 2021. The Salary will be based upon experience. City Manager contract will run through August 31, 2023
