Martinsburg High School Wheelchair Lifts
Invitations to Bid
The Board of Education of the County of Berkeley, Martinsburg, WV, will
receive sealed bids for wheelchair lifts at
Martinsburg High School Auditorium. The sealed bids will be accepted until 1:30 P.M., local prevailing time on the 22nd day of April 2021, at the office of the Berkeley County Board of Education, 1453 Winchester Avenue,
Martinsburg, WV 25405, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bidding Criteria:
¯ Must attend a pre-bid meeting at the project
location.
¯ Must be able to perform turn-key installation.
¯ Must provide
manufacturers standard warranty in writing.
¯ Must provide one year contractor workmanship warranty in writing.

Martinsburg High School, 701 S. Queen St.,
Martinsburg, WV 25401
Scope of Work:
1. Furnish and install two ADA wheelchari lifts in and near the auditorium for ADA Access.
a. Lift 1 will be in the stairwell leading to
auditorium and will travel one flight of stairs.
b. Lift 2 will be in the
auditorium and will travel from the floor to the stage.
Exclusions:
1. Repairs outside of the scope of this work (advise Owner of identified
deficiencies if any found)
2. Dumpster for trash
removal (Owner to provide dumpster)
3. Overtime and premium time
4. Electric to lift power supply (Owner to provide)
