OGLEBAY WEST SPA PATIO ROOFING REPAIRS
PROJECT # 21-6

The Wheeling Park Commission, a Municipal Park System located in Wheeling, West Virginia, will receive sealed bids until 2:00pm on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the front desk of Wilson Lodge from which unopened bids will be taken to an as yet undetermined meeting in the Lodge and publicly opened and read aloud.

2021 OGLEBAY WEST SPA PATIO ROOF REPAIRS is a project consisting of the removal and storage of approximately 2250SF of 2’X2’X2″ pavers and pedestals from the patio. The pedestals rest on top of two layers of 1-1/2′ XPS blue board insulation separated by a layer of black fabric protection mat. The insulation will be saved and reinstalled. Under the lower layer of XPS is a fully adhered EPDM membrane which must be removed and replaced. After installation of new EPDM membrane everything will be re-installed and/or replaced with new if broken.

Interested bidders may obtain the Project Manuals and bidding documents by attending a pre-bid meeting to be held in the Terrace Room at Wilson Lodge on March 31, 2021 at 1PM. After receiving the Bid Package and reviewing the Project Documents bidders will have the opportunity to tour the project site. Interested bidders may also pick up Bid Packages at the FMC Office at Oglebay by calling

Bidders are advised that on this Project each bid shall be accompanied by either a certified check payable to the Wheeling Park Commission for 5% of the total bid or a Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid. Each person or firm submitting a bid for any portion of the work shall include their West Virginia Contractor’s License number and shall provide a current copy of their West Virginia Contractor’s License. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty day of the actual opening thereof. The successful Contractor and Subcontractors must comply with all rules and Regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, and must be able to provide proof of general liability and automobile liability insurance that meets the minimum requirements as found in the Project Manual.

The Wheeling Park Commission reserves the right to delete any or all portions of the Bid, waive any informalities or minor defects, and reject any or all bids.
