The Airport anticipates issuing a notice of award to the responsive low bidder of the federal schedules of work no later than July 1, 2021 with anticipated construction to begin July 8, 2021. If the Airport does not receive a grant from the FAA on or prior to this date, the responsive low bidder of the federal schedules of work will be given the opportunity to hold their bid prices until a grant is issued from the FAA in 2021, which could be issued as late as August 2021. If the responsive low bidder of the federal schedules of work holds their bid until August 2021, no bid unit prices will be allowed to be modified; however, if a change in wage rates affects the original bid, a change order can be processed to account for increased wages.
