HANCOCK COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
On February 25, 2021, Hancock County Public Service District filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia an Application requesting increased rates and charges for furnishing sewer service to approximately 1,569 customers in Hancock County, West Virginia.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission have reviewed the Application and recommended increased rates and charges designed to produce approximately $14,130 annually in additional revenue, an overall increase of 0.91%. The prior and Staff-recommended rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, with ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests may be filed on line through the Commission website using the “Submit a Comment” link or may be mailed to the

or hand-delivered to the Public Service Commission. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the changes rates and charges should be modified.
The Commission may adopt rate and charges which are the same as, greater than or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges.
