PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO DEMOLISH UNSAFE STRUCTURES Notice is hereby given by the Town of Chesapeake, located in Chesapeake, West Virginia, that the following properties have been determined to be unsafe, dilapidated, and unfit for human habitation under applicable municipal code and state law. Pursuant to the authority granted to municipalities under West Virginia Code 8-12-16, 8-12-18, and 8-12-19, the Town hereby provides notice of its intent to proceed with demolition actions as outlined below. After reasonable efforts, the property owners could not be contacted or located. Therefore, this public notice is being issued at least ten (10) days prior to demolition to allow any owner, lienholder, or interested party an opportunity to respond in accordance with WV Code 8-12-16. Unless a responsible party contacts the Town and resolves the violation within ten (10) days of the publication of this notice, the structures located at the following addresses will be subject to demolition and removal by the Town or its authorized contractor: 117 115th St 11914 Venable Ave 11922 MacCorkle Ave 132nd St 13306 MacCorkle Ave 13550 Venable Ave 12926 Ohio Ave 11705 MacCorkle Ave Any owner, lienholder, or interested party who wishes to contest the demolition or discuss the condition of the property must contact the Town immediately.
