TOWN OF HARMAN,
a municipal utility,
Investigation of increase in water rates and
charges as a result of petitions filed in accordance
with W. Va. Code section 24-2-4b.

NOTICE OF HEARING

On or about June 2, 2015, the Town of Harman adopted an ordinance increasing its water rates by 58{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. The Town of Harman intended to implement the increase on July 17, 2015.

On June 17, 2015, the Public Service Commission received a Petition of protest signed by not less than twenty-five percent of the Town’s water customers.

On June 18, 2015, the Public Service Commission asserted its jurisdiction over the Town of Harman’s water rates.

This matter has been set for hearing on September 9, 2015, after the hearing in Case No. 15-0960-S-MA, which has been set for 4:00 p.m., at the Old Senior Center Building, Water Street, Harman, West Virginia.

Interested individuals may be heard at the hearing concerning the water rates of the Town of Harman. The rates ultimately adopted by the Commission may be more than, less than or the same as those proposed by the Town of Harman. Interested individuals may also send in written public comment to the Commission on or before September 9, 2015, to the Executive Secretary, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323, referencing Case No. 15-0961-W-MA.
