Application for a Siting Certificate to Authorize Construction and Operation of a Wholesale Electric Generating Facility and Related Transmission Support Line of less than 200 kV and associated Interconnection Facilities in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT AND EVIDENTIARY HEARINGS
On September 22, 2015, Tri-State Solar/Wind Energy, LLC (Tri-State) filed an application  for a siting certificate (Application) pursuant to W.Va. Code §24-2-11c and the Rules Governing Siting Certificate  for Exempt Whole ale Generators, 150 CSR §30 for a 5.3 MW solar conversion generating facility located in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.
The Public Service Commission of West Virginia will receive public comments on Tri-State’s proposal at 6 p.m. on Monday May 2, 2016, and will conduct an evidentiary hearing upon the application beginning at 9:30a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Both hearings will be held at the Lewisburg City Building, Council Chambers, 119 West Washington Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia
Persons may also file written comments, addressed to Ingrid Ferrell, Executive Secretary, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.  All written comments should be marked with Case No. 15-1553-E-CS.   Until the final Order is issued in this matter, the Commission will continue to receive written public comment.
