Petition for approval of a Phase II Energy Efficiency and Conservation Plan
NOTICE OF HEARING
On March 31, 2016, Monongahela Power Company and The Potomac Edison Company (collectively, Companies) filed a petition requesting Commission consent and approval of Phase II of an Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Plan. The Phase II Plan includes a new residential energy efficiency program with three sub-programs (Energy Efficiency Kits, On-line  Audit, and Lighting), a continuation of the existing Residential Low-Income Program with the addition of new measures, and a continuation of the existing Non-Residential High Efficiency Lighting Program. Phase II of the EEC Plan will run from January 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018, and is budgeted to cost $9.9 million.
The Commission will conduct a hearing in this matter at 9:30 a.m. August 18, 2016, in the Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room at Com-mission headquarters, 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, West Virginia 25301. At the beginning of the hearing, the Commission will receive public comment.
