NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

On July 17, 2025, Central Hampshire Public Service District filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia an Application requesting increased rates and charges for furnishing sewer service to approximately 812 customers in Hampshire County, West Virginia.

The Staff of the Public Service Commission have reviewed the Application and recommended increased rates and charges designed to produce approximately $112,064 annually in additional revenue, an overall increase of 10.46%, until completion of the project approved in Case No. 24-0052-19A-42P. Afterwards, rates would increase by 9.42% over currently pending Step 2 rates. The current and recommended rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to protest the proposed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the proposed rates and charges should be modified.

The Commission may adopt rates and charges for Central Hampshire Public Service District which are the same as, greater than or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges.
