CITY OF LEWISBURG, Public Works Department
The City of Lewisburg is soliciting sealed bids from qualified parties to be considered, interested parties shall submit a written bid to the City of Lewisburg, Public Works Department, 531 Feamster Rd., Lewisburg, WV 24901 by 3:00 p.m. on March 1, 2016. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on March 3, 2016.
The City of Lewisburg is seeking bids for a new mini excavator with bucket, front straight blade, hydraulic thumb, enclosed heated cab, and turbo diesel engine. An excavator with the ability to remove attachments quickly is preferred. John Deere 35-D, Kubota U35, and Case CX 36 or similar. Detailed specifications with required standard and optional features can be acquired by calling the Public Works Department at (304) 645-1833.
There will be no pre-bid meeting. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Mini-Excavator Bid. The sealed envelope must contain the name and address of bidder, Make, Model and year of the Mini-Excavator which is being bid, standard and optional equipment and the bid amount. This Contract or any interest therein, may not be assigned without prior, written consent of the City Administrator. The City may request supplemental information or clarification of stated requirements provided up until a final award is made. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received as a result of this request, to waive formalities, informalities, or irregularities, technical defects, or clerical errors in any bid, as the interest of the City my require.
