REQUEST FOR BIDS
Fairmont State University will accept sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for FAIRMONT STATE UNIVERSITY FALCON CENTER POOL REPAIRS for Fairmont State University, Fairmont WV.
Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on April 14, 2015. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud in Physical Plant Conference Room, Fairmont State.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am on, April 7, 2015in the Fairmont State University Falcon Center Pool at Fairmont State University. Fairmont WV. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification.
The project involves repairing perimeter of pool, main drain, racing lanes, replacing tile, plaster interior finish, etc. at the Fairmont State University Falcon Center, Fairmont West Virginia.
A certified check in the amount of five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Payment Bond, for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the contract award.
All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form.

Fairmont State reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids.
