The Jefferson County Board of Education will receive bids on the attached supply list. The contract term will run from July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016, with the ability to renew for Two (2) additional years. The Jefferson County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will furnish a State Sales Tax Exemption certificate.
Specifications:
No. 2 Fuel Oil: This should be a premium heating oil with a maximum sulfur content of 0.5 gravity, API 31.5, Viscosity SUS at 100*F 34.3.
Regular Unleaded Gasoline: The gasoline supplied under this contract shall conform to Federal Specifications VV-G-1609B for unleaded gasoline. The regular unleaded gasoline shall have a minimum of 87 Octane.
Premium Biodiesel Fuel: B-5 (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) blend of biodiesel, which consists of ULSD petroleum fuel and appropriate mix of biodiesel. Winterized pre-blend mix from October thru February.
Motor Oil: The motor oil is to be used with diesel and gasoline engines with API Specifications (CJ-4) and a viscosity rating of 15W40.
Transmission Fluid: Transynd synthetic; meeting Allison TES295 specifications (55 gal drum)
Antifreeze: Fully Formulated Coolant meeting Cummins Engineering Standard 14603 (55 gal drum)
LP Gas Propane:
The successful bidder, if requested, must be able to furnish a certified analysis of all of the above products delivered to his/her terminal during the life of this contract.
