Telephone Repair Services

The Mercer County Board of Education invites bids to provide all Work including but not limited to labor and transportation for telephone repair services for thirty-five Board sites; providing inside wiring maintenance and installation of wire, installation of wall jacks, diagnosis of connection problems, and other work that may be required to maintain the Avaya/VoIP systems. Additional tasks include minor programming of desk phones, extensions, fax machines, and the installation of equipment purchased by the Board. Successful vendor must serve as liaison with local and long distance providers when necessary. All bidders must submit a copy of their Business License as required by WV Code. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract, comply with all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Laws, and provide evidence of insurance coverage to the minimum limits required by the contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety days. Other requirements are detailed in the bid package. Bids will be opened and read aloud June 16, 2020, 2:00 p.m., Conference Room, Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
