REQUEST FOR BIDS
The MERCER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY (MCSWA) is currently seeking sealed bids for one complete full electronic truck scale. A bidder must provide a scale that meets the following specifications and provides the following equipment:
– 90,000 pound CLC rating
– 200,000 pound capacity
– 11′ deck width
– 8, 75,000 pound load cells and junction boxes
– Necessary digital scale readout.
– Full set of pipe guide rails minimum 4″ diameter. (Priced separately)
– 3/8″ steel deck or 1/4″ steel deck with 1/4″ steel replaceable deck runners (minimum of 40″ in width).
– Delivered to the below address.
– All labor and needed equipment such as crane should be figured into bids.
– New scale shall be installed, tested and calibrated with state weights and measures department.
– Provide delivery time schedule.
– Disposal of old scale will be handled by the owner.
– The new scale must be compatible with the existing approaches, piers and software.
– Bidder must be able to offer future scale service to our area.
– All bidders are required to make an appointment to view the current scale location to gain full understanding of scale replacement requirements.
