Sediment Sampling Plan
The Town of Fayetteville is seeking sealed bids for a professional firm or contractor to complete sediment sampling, characterization, and classification from the reservoir on Wolf Creek (38.0430, -81.0878).
A detailed plan outlining the intended policies and procedures for this work shall be submitted by the selected bidder. All work will follow the Statement of Work, made available upon request by email to the point of contact below or available on the town's websitewww.fayettevillewv.gov. Questions may be directed to Town Manager- Matt Diederich.
USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will assist the Town of Fayetteville with ensuring technical adequacy.
Proposals should be mailed to the Town of Fayetteville, P.O. Box 298 Fayetteville, WV 25840 or delivered to the Fayetteville Town Hall at 125 North Court Street, Fayetteville, WV 25840 by Thursday, October 16, 2025 by 4:00PM. Sealed bids should be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope "Wolf Creek Project Bid Proposal" and including a firm fixed-price (lump sum or unit price).
All bids will be opened and read aloud at the Fayetteville Town Hall meeting to be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Fayetteville Town Hall. The Town of Fayetteville reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
