REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR

GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES

Pursuant to WV Code 5G-1-4, the Jefferson County Board of Education is seeking expressions of interest from geotechnical engineering firms to provide geotechnical engineering services for a proposed school complex. It is the responsibility of applicants to obtain additional information regarding the full scope of this work and RFP requirements by contacting Ralph Dinges, Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance, Construction and Facilities, 110 Mordington Avenue, Charles Town, WV, 304-728-9265.

Qualified firms are invited to submit their expressions of interest, to include a statement of qualifications, performance data, and other required relevant information no later than Friday, September 30, 2016, 12:00 P.M. at the office of the Board of Education of Jefferson County, 110 Mordington Avenue, Charles Town, West Virginia 25414.

An administrative selection team will evaluate the submitted statements of qualifications and conduct discussions with at least three firms deemed to be the most qualified. The recommendation by the selection team will be submitted to the Jefferson County Board of Education for approval.

The Jefferson County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all statements received and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Jefferson County Schools and in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-4.
