REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR BUS PARKING LOT AT HURRICANE MIDDLE SCHOOL THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE COUNTY OF PUTNAM The Board of Education of the County of Putnam, Winfield, WV, will receive bids for a Bus Parking Lot at Hurricane Middle School located at 518 Midland Trail, Hurricane WV 25526 until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on the 3rd day of, June 2026, at the office of the Putnam County Board of Education, 77 Courthouse Drive, Winfield, WV 25213. At which time all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for May 22nd, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. The meeting place will be at the school location. Hurricane Middle School 518 Midland Trail, Hurricane WV 25526.Putnam County Schools central office location at 77 Courthouse Drive, Winfield, WV 25213. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Board of Education of the County of Putnam Central Office located at 77 Courthouse Drive, Winfield, WV 25213. Scott Coyner at 304-586-1650. Each bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for Bid to be considered. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each bidder Contractors license shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The Board of Education of the County of Putnam, Winfield, West Virginia, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to Five percent (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Board of Education of the County of Putnam, Winfield, West Virginia, shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for the same shall be included in their bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must pay the West Virginia Department of Labor minimum wage rates established for Putnam County, pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-5-1 et. Seq., with exception as permitted under West Virginia Code Section 21-5A-3. 1.
