Request for Proposal – Structured Network Cabling The Braxton County Commission seeks bids from qualified vendors to install a complete, tested, and certified Cat6 structured cabling system at the Braxton County Courthouse & Annex. This turnkey project includes all labor, materials, and supervision for approximately 65 cable drops across the Courthouse (1st–3rd floors) and Annex (Basement–4th floors) to support VOIP communications. Work includes installing Cat6 cabling from central Equipment Rooms to all drops; securing, labeling, fire-stopping, and testing all cabling per ANSI/TIA/EIA, NEC/NFPA, and BICSI TDMM standards; removing unused cabling; supplying and installing rack-mount patch panels and patch cables; providing digital and hardcopy test results plus as-built electronic documentation; and performing most work during non-business hours. All materials and methods must meet ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 standards and applicable codes; preference given to BICSI-certified technicians under a BICSI RCDD.
