REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The City of Hinton is seeking proposals from individuals / firms who wish to help the City of Hinton with replacing the city waterslide. Individuals / firms are invited to submit a proposal to include a statement of qualifications, price per tree, and other related material information desired no later than October 28, 2016, 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, City of Hinton, 322 Summers Street, Hinton, West Virginia 25951. City Council will evaluate the proposals and will conduct discussions with individuals / firms submitting proposals deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required and then rank such proposals in order of preference. The City of Hinton will award a contract with the individual / firm determined to be the most highly qualified, subject to negotiation of fair and reasonable compensation and scope of products and services offered. If the City is unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the individual / firm considered to be the most qualified then that negotiation will be considered to be formally terminated. The City will then undertake negotiations with the next ranked individual / firm. This procedure will be continued thereafter until an agreement is reached. The City of Hinton reserves the right to reject any and all expressions of interest from individuals / firms and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the interest of the City of Hinton and in accordance with West Virginia State code.
