PUBLIC NOTICE
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) isconsidering a request for Federal assistance from Raleigh County Memorial Airport to construct a Airport Industrial Park Site Preparation Project in Beaver, Raleigh County, WV. Pursuant to
the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect theenvironment and/or historic properties. Notice is hereby given that the project is proposed to belocated in, or may affect, a floodplain and/or wetland as defined by Executive Order (EO)11988 and/or EO 11990.
The project consists of the grading and infrastructure to create a 105 acre industrial park.Project elements include excavation/fill, 2,100 LF of access roads, 3,000 LF of utility trenches,3,000 LF of gas line, 1,500 LF of water line, 2,900 LF of sewer and appurtenances. The projectwill be located at 176 Airport Circle, Beaver, WV. Project information is available for reviewat 116 N. Heber Street, Suite B, Beckley, WV.

Comments received in the EDA Regional Office by 5:00 pm eastern on June 20, 2020, 30 days after the third day of publication of this notice. If the newspaper is not a daily, please contact the Regional Environmental Officer prior to publication to determine the deadline for comments will be considered. A copy of the NEPA/NHPA decisional document will be available upon
request at the above EDA Regional Office.
