REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Beckley, Raleigh County, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to furnish and install chain link fencing at East Park, Temple Street Park, and Simpkins Park in the City of Beckley.
One (1) original and two (2) copies of the written proposal must be submitted to Ms. Angela King, Grants Administrator, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV 25801 by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Park Fencing.” Only written and sealed proposals will be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Any proposal received after the time and date that proposals are due, will be returned unopened.
In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the City of Beckley in an amount equal to ten percent (10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement with the City.

Davis Bacon wage rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions apply. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities.
