ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids will be received by the Sanitary Board of Bluefield, 100 Rogers St., Bluefield, West Virginia 24701, at the specified dates and times for the following work:
Sanitary Board of Bluefield Various Project Locations – Asphalt Milling and Paving Restoration Bid, until 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., April 21, 2020.
Following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work to be bid upon is described as follows:
Asphalt Milling and Paving
Bids shall be received by the Sanitary Board of Bluefield for Milling and Paving various locations of previously installed sewer lines beneath city roads located in both WV and VA service areas. Additionally, some areas will require asphalt caps without milling and/or new pavement installed over existing base material. Bidders shall submit a base price less any government discounts available and shall include a cost breakdown for milling, base, bonding, and asphalt based on per project location. Interested bidders must set up onsite visits to each project locations no later than April 14, 2020 to be eligible to submit a bid.

Each Bid for the Asphalt Milling and Paving Projects shall be submitted on the Bidder’s standard equipment bid proposal format and included in a sealed bid with the following information:

“Name and Address of Bidder”, The Sanitary Board of Bluefield, Bid on Asphalt Milling and Paving, to be opened at 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., April 21, 2020.
Prospective Bidders are advised that the contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is likely to be funded by a variety of federal, state, and local funds. Neither the United States or the State of West Virginia nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. Bidders must be licensed and insured to work in project states as needed.
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
The Sanitary Board of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
