SOLICITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
2004 FORD MUSTANG
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Parsons (City), Tucker County, West Virginia, will receive sealed bids on a 2004 Ford Mustang. A starting bid of $500.00 has been established for said vehicle. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with specifications outlined below.
Bids must be in a sealed security envelope, labeled, and filed with Mr. Jason L. Myers, Acting City Administrator/ Treasurer, at the Parsons Business Office on or before 4:00 P.M. (EDT) on Friday, June 18, 2021. Bidders can hand deliver or mail their bids to the City of Parsons, 341 Second Street, Parsons, West Virginia 26287. Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at 4:01 P.M. (EDT) on the above-mentioned date. This vehicle will be sold “AS IS” and “WHERE IS.”
Said vehicle can be inspected Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. (EDT) at the Public Works Facility, 8948 Seneca Trail, Parsons, West Virginia 26287. The City neither implies nor expresses any warranty or guarantee of any kind. Payment must be made within five (5) business days from bid opening and must be cash, cashier’s check, or credit card. The successful bidder must pick-up vehicle within ten (10) days of bid opening or storage fees will be applied.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, either in whole or in part, with or without cause, waive any informality of any bids, cancel this request for bids, and to make the award in the best interest of the City.
